The Legal Resources Centre from Moldova (LRCM) announces the registration of journalists and content creators for a training dedicated to increasing professionalism in covering justice, anticorruption and human rights issues. The media training will take place in Chișinău on 28 May 2024, and will be facilitated by the LRCM lawyers.

Topics to be tackled during the training include an overview of the national legal system, key aspects of justice and anticorruption bodies, an explanation of the judicial process, current justice reforms, as well as aspects of national and international human rights protection mechanisms.

The training agenda consists of theoretical sessions with a focus on practical application and analysis of real-life situations to develop professional public information skills on legal events and topics, with open discussion and debate encouraged.

By filling in this form by 20 May 2024, journalists working in newsrooms throughout the Republic of Moldova, as well as freelancers or independent content creators, specialised or willing to specialise on topics related to the rule of law, can register for training.

The number of places is limited, and by filling in the registration form, the participants express their willingness to be present for the entire duration of the training (28 May 2024, 9:00 – 17:30). Selection and confirmation of participants will be on a first come, first served basis, taking into account the specialisation and motivation of the candidates.

The selected persons will then receive a confirmation message with the detailed agenda and location of the training. For more details, please contact us at contact@crjm.org or by phone at 022 843 601.
