The project aims to provide support and international expertise to the National Integrity Authority (NIA) in the revision and development of its Standard Operating Procedures and internal regulations.
The project activities include:
Development of Standard Operating Procedures on
– Assets and personal interests declaration verification;
– The control of assets and of personal interests;
– The control of conflicts of interest;
– The control of incompatibilities;
– The control of restrictions and limitations;
– Standard formula/equation for calculating the substantial difference between the income gained during the exercise of a mandate, public function or office and the assets acquired;
Development of the regulation on the evaluation of the work of integrity inspectors and adjustment of the methodology for the verification of assets and personal interests.
The activities are implemented by the Legal Resource Centre from Moldova (LRCM) within the framework of the Project “Strengthening the Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption Mechanisms in the Republic of Moldova”, implemented by the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ) with the financial support of the European Union (EU) and the German Federal Ministry for Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
This will include products developed and events organized within the project.
