The project aims to support national authorities in the European integration process by providing the necessary expertise, increasing public understanding of integration processes, mechanisms, and institutions involved in the EU accession process, and empowering civil society in relation to these developments.
The project’s priority areas focus on EU directives under Chapter 23 (Judiciary and Fundamental Rights) and Chapter 24 (Justice, Freedom and Security).
Project activities include:
– Providing support to national authorities in analyzing the compliance of national legislation with the EU acquis and transposing it into national law;
– Conducting advocacy actions both domestically and abroad to objectively and impartially present Moldova’s progress and challenges in the accession process;
– Developing informative materials about the EU accession process, as well as about European institutions and mechanisms;
– Carrying out awareness-raising and information activities to encourage civil society engagement in the European integration process.
