He works in the media sector since 2013, founding and managing the Zugo.md news portal and producing multimedia content within several communication and visibility projects of national and international organizations such as UNDP Moldova, UNFPA, HelpAge International, CID NATO, IPRE, Expert Group.

During 2017-2019, he worked in the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, being responsible for the management of public relations in the office of the Deputy Chairman of the Parliament, Valeriu Ghilețchi.

Dumitru JOMIR studied at the Faculty of Journalism and Communication Sciences of the Moldova State University and graduated the master program in political science of the Academy of Public Administration. In 2016-2019 he participated in a series of trainings organized by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in the fields of the rule of law and European integration.

Dumitru is fluent in Romanian and speaks English, Russian and Italian at intermediate level.
