Diana LAZĂR

Doctor of Legal Sciences

Diana Lazăr holds a PhD in Legal Sciences, specializing in private law and private international law. She earned her master’s degree from Montesquieu University Bordeaux IV in France, focusing on Law, Economics, and Management in the Viticulture sector.

 

She possesses extensive professional experience and has been predominantly involved in recent years in USAID projects aimed at enhancing the competitiveness and global market integration of strategic industries in the Republic of Moldova. These industries include viticulture, tourism, information and communication technology (ICT), light industry, creative industries, and digital media. Her efforts also focus on increasing competitiveness, strengthening resilience, diversifying Western markets, developing sustainable business models, adapting to climate change, promoting technology transfer and innovation, and stimulating new investments in key sectors.

 

Diana is fully engaged in promoting smart policies, regulatory reforms, workforce development, and international integration. She has experience collaborating with public authorities, international professional organizations, associations, similar foreign authorities, and organizations with roles, functions, and missions related to the relevant industries.

 

Diana Lazăr is an arbitrator in institutionalized international arbitrations and a university lecturer at the State University of Moldova.
