Safer Internet Day is on the international calendar of days observed in February. From cyberbullying to social media and to digital identity, every year the day is marked by actions to raise awareness of emerging online issues and current concerns.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

The internet has become almost ubiquitous in people’s lives and the integration of artificial intelligence into the online environment is gaining momentum. Hence the inevitable question \u2013 to what extent can human rights be influenced by these processes?<\/p>

On 22 February<\/strong>, we invite students from law, journalism, international relations and political science faculties, as well as young professionals, to participate in a new #LRCM public lecture \u2013 \u201cThe Internet in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Human Rights\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 which will take place via the Zoom platform from 15:00 – 16:30.<\/strong><\/p>
