Background:<\/strong><\/p>

The Legal Resources Centre from Moldova (LRCM) implements the project \u201cShields for Human Rights Defenders \u2013 Supporting Human Rights Defenders in the Republic of Moldova\u02ee with the financial support of the European Union. The main objective of the project is to enhance the human rights monitoring and protection in Moldova by empowering human rights defenders (HRDs) and civil society organisations (CSOs) to operate in a safe and enabling environment, in compliance with their full rights and freedoms.<\/p>

The project implementation is focused, among others, on providing digital security assistance<\/strong> and on equipping individuals and organizations with the knowledge and tools necessary to enhance their personal security<\/strong>, including safety, well-being and others.<\/p>

The training on personal security<\/strong> will be provided by international trainers from Front Line Defenders and will cover a range of essential topics, including:<\/p>

  • Holistic security as a concept\/approach to protection,<\/li>
  • Methodology and practical tips for risk assessment,<\/li>
  • Protection planning,<\/li>
