Daniel STANCIU

Communication Specialist

Daniel joined the Legal Resources Centre team in December 2021.

Daniel started his career in press. From 2017 to 2019 he worked at Digi24, producing TV shows on social issues. From April 2019 to March 2020, he was a journalist at Libertatea newspaper, where he published reports and investigations, in written and video format.

 

Afterwards, he changed his area of activity and moved from Bucharest to Chisinau where he entered the NGO field. From 2020-2021 he worked at Soros Foundation Moldova as a program assistant in the Media and Culture Department. During this time she was in charge of managing the media project “New Media Incubator”, creating the project’s website and other logistical activities.

 

Daniel STANCIU earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science at the Faculty of Political Science of the National School of Political and Administrative Studies (SNSPA) and his master’s degree in Public Policy and European Integration at the same faculty.

 

In 2019-2020 she won a scholarship to the Future News Worldwide 2019 international conference, a scholarship to the International European Alpbach Forum 2019 and was an online ticket receiver for the International European Alpbach Forum 2020.

 

Daniel’s mother tongue is Romanian, he is proficient in English and knows German as a basic level (A1).
