DESCRIPTION:The Legal Resources Centre from Moldova (LRCM) has been analysing the electoral programs of the presidential candidates to observe and assess whether human rights and the rule of law are a priority for them. The promises made to citizens in these areas are analysed from the perspective of clarity, compatibility with international standards and state policies, as well as feasibility from the perspective of the President’s powers.\nThe LRCM invites journalists, members of civil society and all those interested in this topic to watch the presentation of the analytical note “Presidential candidates’ electoral programs viewed through the lenses of the rule of law and human rights” – online, on the LRCM’s Facebook page, or at the premises of Info-Prim Neo press agency – on October 16, 2024, starting at 14:00.\nThis event is organized with the financial support of the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) in the framework of the project “Shielding Civil Society and Human Rights Defenders for a More Democratic Society ˮ, implemented by the Legal Resources Centre from Moldova (LRCM).
